Last night, I re-read the classic Meta-cognition "A Big 'What If'" for the first time in a while. Later the same night, I watched Metropolis for the first time ever. Watching the first half hour or so, it occured to me that I had been mistaken in "A Big 'What If,'" and that Fritz Lang truly had a better vision of what the world would be like if everyone were like Paul.
