A husband and wife on Winnie Dr. were arguing over the television remote control. The husband left the house for fear of hurting his wife. Both parties agreed to make peace.

Wednesday, August 3 Three men were driving a pick up truck full of construction equipment down Market St. when a deputy noticed them acting really nervous. The driver had several warrants out for his arrest in Flint and one of the passengers had one. They were both arrested and the vehicle was impounded.

Reports of a bottle bomb damaging a mailbox on Barr Rd. The homeowner found the remnants of a plastic pop bottle and aluminum foil lying around the damaged mailbox. No fingerprints were recovered.

Thursday, August 4 Reports of someone selling surround-sound equipment out of their car on East St.

Friday, August 5 The full-length safety glass doors at the North Oakland Church of God on Metamora Rd. were broken.

Saturday, August 6 Reports of fraud and identity theft on Laurel Leah. A person used the homeowner's maiden name to withdraw $16,000 from her money market account.

An ex-girlfriend of a man on Trillum Trail has been making harassing phone calls.

A brother and sister got into an argument over the telephone on Island Park Dr. The girl has severe depression and her mother told officers to take her to Havenwick for medical attention.

While at the car wash on Lapeer Rd., a woman was approached by a white male in his early 30s asking for her money. When she refused, he approached her from behind and took $6 out of her hand and took off in a black vehicle. She was unable to get a license plate number.

Sunday, August 7 A car on Harwood reportedly got scratched all the way down the side. The owner found it this way when he woke up the next morning.

Two vehicles were broken into on Townsend street. One had a window left open , the other car was unlocked. A cell phone, sunglasses and a lap top were among the items stolen.

Monday, August 8 Reports of residents on Powell sitting on their front porch using loud foul language.
