Connor had just had time to hang up his jacket before Abby pounced on him and shoved him into the living room.
She had promised to make it up to him and a Maitland kept her promises.
Connor laughed in excitement and sank willingly down on the couch.
Seeing his owners, Rex twittered happily from the cupboard and sailed down to claim his food.
"Not now, Rex." Abby told him as Connor pulled her down next to him. But the lizard wasn't ready to wait any longer. With an elegant move, Rex landed on the back of the couch and chirped directly in Abby's ear.
"Better we feed him first," Connor chuckled.
"You're right. The other lizards need their food too." Abby stood up, sighing and moved into the kitchen. "You know that's the first time I've regretted having so many pets."
"Time for dinner, sweeties," Oliver Leek announced and watched enthusiastically as the raptors snapped after the meat.
The predators had grown up and now stood as high as his chest. There were only six creatures alive now. The ones who had dared to attack Leek had been punished immediately and the rest had learned to behave themselves.
His favourite velociraptor, a vicious beast and the leader of the pack, snapped after the large chunk of meat. "Enjoy your meal!" Oliver said and pictured it as Lester's flesh the carnivore was tearing apart.
He didn't notice the slender figure at the entry of the lit-up warehouse who was watching him curiously.
Helen contemplated for a moment shooting him right there and delivering him as a dessert for the raptors.
But perhaps the idiot with his pets could still be useful at some point. Now, after she had failed to get the clones back to consciousness she had to keep all options open.
With catlike moves she crept back into the shadows and vanished in the approaching darkness.
Whilst Rex and the other lizards munched on their food, Abby started to suckle and nibble at Connor's neck. Connor sank back on the couch as she moved further down to his chest and lavished at his nibbles with her tongue.
"Wow, Abby, that is... just wow," he babbled.
"Shut up, Connor, I'm not finished yet."
Connor's eyes widened as her fingers touched his groin and cupped him in her hand through the fabric of his trousers.
His breath hitched when Abby opened his zipper and took his hardened cock boldly out of his pants.
With a wicked grin on her face she squeezed his balls and Connor groaned in delight.
Then Abby bent down and inspected his raging erection with interest and Connor nearly panicked. Was she going to...? Perhaps she thought he was too small or was she put off by the thick pulsing vein on his cock?
Her other hand caressed his arm soothingly as he started to hyperventilate and Connor calmed down again.
Abby breathed softly against his cock-head and Connor shivered as the cold draught on his cock inflamed his body. He opened his mouth to say something but he had lost every coherent thought by now.
Abby traced the edge of the big cock-head with her finger tip and then smiled up at Connor. There would be other times to explore him thoroughly .
Connor couldn't think straight anymore. The desire to feel more was too strong.
"Please," he whimpered desperatly.
Abby snorted and grasped him firmly in her fist. Need pulsed through him as she started pumping.
Connor tried to keep his eyes open but was swept away by the intense feelings. It felt so much better when it was Abby's hand and not his own.
"Oh God, Abby. I'm..... I can't.... I'm close...," he gasped but Abby continued to stroke him steadily.
He came hard, groaning and mewing and gasping for breath. His semen was scattered on his belly and Abby's hand but he didn't care at the moment. A feeling of bone-deep satisfaction and warmth flowed through his body and made him drowsy. All he wanted was to curl up on the couch with Abby in his arms and sleep.
Abby stood up and fetched some paper towels from the kitchen.
"Connor, at least stay awake until I have cleaned you up," she said with a big, self-contented smile on her face. Satisfying the man she loved had been a huge turn-on. Sadly with Connor almost asleep she would have to take care of her own needs by herself.
Stephen glanced at Jon next to him on the couch. His lover hadn't tried to touch or kiss him all evening and Stephen realised something was wrong.
The film on the telly wasn't really so interesting and now he was getting bored.
Slowly he let his hand slide on Lyle's thigh and draw circles with his fingers. A brief tightening of his jaw was the only reaction Lyle showed. So Stephen thought some more action was needed. He skimmed softly over Jon's hip whilst his thumb brushed his ribs. Lyle looked even more transfixed at the TV screen and ignored his advances.
"I'm going to bed," Stephen announced and stood up. With a suggestive smile he wiggled his arse lasciviously. "Care to join me?"
Stephen expected Jon would pounce at the offer. This method had never failed with Lyle before.
"Sleep well. I'll watch the film to the end." Lyle hadn't even bothered to take his eyes from the telly and take a glance at Stephen's wiggling arse.
Miffed, Stephen trotted into his bedroom and pondered what had suddenly got into his lover. He was asleep already when Lyle crawled into bed next to him two hours later.
Lester lay on the bed and flipped through the small stack of pictures.
The lengths Nick was willing to go to for him was amazing. James just wished he could drive over to him and show Nick his gratitude. But he wasn't ready yet. The evening they had spent in the restaurant, and later in Nick's house, had been wonderful until the moment Nick had uttered the exact same words he'd said at the attack.
James had admitted to himself later that a small part of him was still afraid of Nick. He couldn't bear the thought of being at his mercy again.
James knew he had to talk with Nick about it if they wanted to move on, but how could he start such a conversation without hurting his lover? Would Nick be ready to give control up to him completely? They had always met in the middle before after all.
With a sigh, he put the pictures in his bedside cabinet and turned off the light.
Jenny ignored the call on her mobile. She would leave him hanging for a while longer. That would make everything easier later.
Snuggled under the bedcover in her over-large double bed, she started to reflect on her life. All her friends were married or paired off and for the first time she felt lonely.
She yearned for someone she could share her life with, but since adulthood she had always fallen for the wrong guy.
Her boyfriend at the university had cared more for rugby than for her, the arrogant ex-fiance had seen her just as a nice ornament to show off, and the egocentric Cutter had turned to Lester instead of seeing the woman in front of him. Not that there had been ever a chance for Cutter and her in the first place. She knew that. But it had still hurt a little to be ignored.
And then there had been Thomas Barrow. She had felt attracted to this man from the first moment on and she could have fallen for him easily. Now she could add him to the list of her personal lapses of judgment as well. That made her really angry.
She would bring this bastard of a reporter to the point he would be ready to met her and then she would kick his ass.
Connor woke up hours later, alone on the couch covered with a blanket. He was confused and would have assumed everything had only been a dream. But his still-open trousers, and the bone-deep satisfaction he felt, told him the precious events had been real.
He padded in the direction of his bed room and hesitated at Abby's room. The door was half open. He couldn't go back to sleep without checking on her. He would only take a quick glance.
Abby was sleeping in her bed with a small smile on her lips. Illuminated by the faint light of a street lamp, she looked like an angel and Connor's heart constricted at the beautiful sight.
This woman loved him. Suddenly he felt like the luckiest guy in the world.
When he lay down on his own bed after he had put Rex aside, he wished Abby was next to him. But there would be other times for that. He snuggled up to Rex and his pillow instead and fell asleep.
Nick was running, chased by a horrible pack of creatures. As the noises of the carnivores finally got quieter, he looked back over his shoulder.
Icy water was running through his veins when he saw that the raptors had found another prey.
He slowly crept closer to the feasting animals, his tranquilizer gun at the ready. The pack were tearing large chunks out of a suit-covered body...
Gasping for breath, Nick sat up in his bed and stared wide-eyed at the fluorescent display of his alarm clock. It was three in the morning and there was no way he could get back to sleep right now. Not after such a vivid dream.
He put James' shirt on his chest so he could inhale the faint fragrance still clinging to the fabric and started to stroke himself. But images from the dream invaded his mind and suddenly he felt dirty, like he was jerking off over a corpse.
Frustrated, Nick raised up and went over into his study. There stood the only picture he had of James and him together. It was a snapshot Connor had taken at the clay quarry in Cornwall and showed them both covered in clay dust.
He gently caressed the picture frame and sighed heavily. He needed James here in the flesh and not just the poor substitute of his shirt or picture.
Nick was a little disappointed James hadn't called so he could at least her his voice. He had hoped the pictures would turn James on enough so he would at least request his assistance over the phone again.
James hadn't given him any answer to his proposal to move back into the house either. Was he really so happy to stay in a hotel room? Or was James afraid to be alone in the house with him permanently? James had said he trusted him. Nick hoped that hadn't just been a white lie.
He booted his computer up and started working on a paper he intended to publish in the next Science magazine.
Now and then, he took a look at the picture. Covered in all the clay they looked silly but happy. It had been a wonderful time at the beginning of their relationship.
Nick was sad there weren't more pictures of them together as a tribute to the good life they'd had shared previously.
'We need more pictures of us, ' he thought and decided to ask Connor for a favour.
Morning found him sunk wearily over his desk with overstrained red-rimmed eyes.
