Whispered words in the darkness. "I'll take care of you."
Fingers running tenderly through short blonde hair. "Everything will be all right."
Kisses breathed on dry lips. "I love you."
A promise given in the middle of the night. "We'll always be together now."
Gentle touches on wizened skin. "I'll never leave you."
Becker stares in horror at the view in front of him. Bile rises up in his throat and with shaking hands he dials his mobile.
"Danny, I've found them. Yes, both...... Damn it. Stop asking, just come over. And we'll need a doctor. Connor is still alive..."
