Lester's really beating himself up in this, isn't he? He knows he's taking advantage of Nick, no matter whether Nick says he wants this or not.

Some minutes later, Nick was engrossed in the magic world of the internet, looking in fascination at the naked bodies in the pop-ups.

Trust him to find the porn first! :-)

It's a very difficult situation for Lester. In some ways Nick is still so innocent but he's also toughened up already and scarred for life.

I found porn within 5 minutes when I started with internet 13 years ago and I really was not searching for it at the time.:)

Wow! That was very dark and angsty -- but in a good way! I found it interesting that Lester just assumes that Nick is eventually going to leave him (because everyone else has) and, yet, can't stop himself from getting closer. I love the way Lester tries to warn Nick to stay away from him after he's fired, but Nick refuses to listen and holds Lester until he calms down.

BTW I think it's great that the first thing Nick discovers on the web is internet porn! *g*
