Clashing theories
Okay this is another Fringe related post. I appologize for people who don't care, lol.
Anyway, I was cruising the interwebs and realized that my theory on Peter's past is slightly different than what seems to be the main theory and I felt compelled to post mine here and see what people thought.
It seems that the main theory of Peter's past is that he was very sick as a child and died, thereby spurring Walter into crossing dimensions to kidnap and bring him back. Later they were in a car crash and the Observer saved them.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I saw that in multiple places but didn't look too much further into the matter.
My own theory is that Walter and Peter were in a car crash and Peter died despite the Observer's interference. Walter's expression and reluctant explanation the first time he tells Peter this led me to believe that back in Season One (episode four I think) and I was further convinced by 2x05 when the Observer explained that he was righting a wrong, suggesting that he should have been able to save Peter in the crash, but could not. Spurred on by losing Peter, Walter crossed dimensions and brought him back (with the approval of his Observer friend who was righting his mistake). Peter then got very sick, like William Bell, from crossing dimensions.
