The Rasmus
Went to see the Rasmus last night at Rock City and I have to say that they were really really good. The lead singer has great stage presence and he's real tiny and cute. After the gig, Rock City opened the Rig and Disco 2 and when I was in the Rig the basist from the band came out of one of the exits and was just stood watching the club night. Nobody seemed to recognise him apart from me so I went over and had a chat with him. He was a really nice guy. I believe his name is Eero. I asked him how America was going for them and he said "Not so good because it is really difficult to get airplay on the radio stations". I think I did most of the talking. He was asking how long I knew about the Rasmus and how long I had been coming to Rock City. He asked my name and I asked him how his meditation was going which, for some reason, he found quite amusing. He offered to write down some details about his meditation but I did not have a pen and that was about it. My friend, Nat, who was with me did not know who I was talking to and she just thought it was one of my friends. The guy sat next to her found that really fuuny. It was a great night and afterward I went to F and A's place for a few more drinks etc. That's about it but right now I have serious sleep deprivation and can't cope. Will have to go and come back to this.
