I guess it's been awhile since I was on LJ. I missed it all, praise the Lord.
So, I got really lucky and acquired a RED vintage beach cruiser bike this week. I was in the market for a bike that I can ride to school and stuff, and lo and behold, Megan found this one by her neighbor's trash can, ready to go out on trash day. She is a genius and very good friend (i love you, Megan) and thought of me. I just needed to buy a few things to fix it up, which is happening today, (thank you Chance). I'm so excited to ride my new old bike! I also invested in a phatty lock because people at UNLV (and in the common world) like to take what's not theirs. There are two kinds of people in this world that I cannot tolerate; thieves and liars. Although it's an old bike and I got it for free, those are the exact reasons why I especially DO NOT want it stolen.
