Heartache
Rod and Franzi have split up. :( Even though we haven't known them a long time, it was sad as it was unexpected. Turns out there were issues that we just didn't know about. It's weird. She's all happy and "starting a chapter" and all that, while he is inches from tears. So much sadder, somehow, than mutual loathing or something similar.
It has upset me, but is has also reminded me of how lucky I am. Best of luck to you with your new love, Franzi, hope it doesn't take you away from the RPG this Sunday. And all my support to you, Rod. We will hang out more, maybe even team up for the 2011 F-1 qualifiers.
I'd watch the races with you, but they're probably going to be on Sundays.... Damn. French-film nights?
