The answer to why I have been invisible for 2 weeks

Oct 06, 2005 12:46

Hello all,

From Oct. 9th to Oct. 16th, our campus will be celebrating National Coming Out
Week at UGA. This week will be far more than a secondary Gay Pride week,
but rather NCOW is about bringing the UGA campus to a place where students
and faculty feel comfortable being out, and doing this by educating the campus
through the numerous Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Allied
organizations. I am pasting our finalized calendar of events.
I would appreciate all the help you can give spreading the word about these
events. Please consider forwarding this email, posting it to a listserv, starting a
facebook message, posting it in your blog, printing it out, ANYTHING to really
help make these programs be successful in raising awareness that a strong
community of LGBT students, staff, and faculty along with their beloved
supporters are ready to see the day that the University of Georgia is a safe and
supportive campus.

Best Wishes,

Patrick Miller
Director of Information - Lambda Alliance
