So the exciting things with my RA position...
I find my placement with the Reed Community on SUNDAY... let us hope for the best.
I will be working with the Desk Assistants next semester, as the RA Assistant Supervisor Person In-Charge of all things Tedious! (This is great because it's responsibility, but is less time consuming than Hall Council.)
I am working on a program for Finals Week with other RAs called "Return to Kindergarten." We're going to have nap-time areas, coloring, cartoons, games, snacks, juice-boxes, a 'teacher' teaching emergency study tips, 'good job stickers' and arts&crafts. Adam helped me figure out something to put on the posters... A list of "How college students are similar to Kindergartners" (Maybe to be turned into a Top-10)
1. You cry for your mother.
2. You cross the street without looking for cars.
3. Nap time is a necessity.
4. You bundle up in layers of mismatched clothes to go outside and don't care what you look like because everyone else looks as stupid as you do.
5. You stay in all day and play games with your friends.
6. You wear your backpack on BOTH shoulders.
7. A good day is determined by what you get for a snack.
