Yeah, I haven't touched this in a long time. Sorry for the long wait, but I'm too lazy to friend anyone haha. Umm, I'll go over my weekend with you.
Friday- Had a show at Redzone. Nothing too special. It's my bands last show for a while, so we're gonna go back to the basics. I then went to FLC to try and catch Stifling Neglects and RIP, but unfortunately, my guitarist Eddie and I were too late. Oh well. We didn't stay long. I left to go home cause I was exhausted. That was my night
Saturday- During the day, I finished the music video with Jon and this girl Katrina, who acted in it. She did a good job and I plan on showing the screening of it tomorrow at my Visionary Video class. Should be awesome. So, that's that and then later on, I went to a show in my hometown. It kinda started out fun and then it got like really tense. The church, which was the venue, wouldn't allow anymore kids into the place, so, anyone who left was fucked. I had to leave twice to get my video camera. Fortunately, Steve from Phylum had a video camera for me to use for their set. I videotaped their set and it was good. Their new music rocks. After that, my friend Jen, Jon and half my band, davey and Eddie went to Mamaroneck to some Diner to get food. Phylum and a bunch of their friends met up with us about 10 minutes later and we chilled after that and it was fun.
Sunday- Stayed in during the day. Rested and shit. Went to Rumors at night and saw my girlfriend Nellie. I was with her for most of the night and her friends. I still can't get the writing off of my arm. Nells and her friends wrote all this shit on my arm haha. Gotta love it. The bands were good. I was listening in and it sounded pretty good. I was in a really good mood that night, just because I was able to see Nellie : D. That made me happy.
Monday- Went to class. It was pretty fun. got to shoot some new footage and then went to see my favorite local band Broken perform. I got a chance to see some new bands play and they were really good. This one band called The Animit were really good. Their music is very tight and they know what they're doing. Unfortunately, Broken couldn't perform cause something came up. Apparently, one of their symbols were stolen or something. it sucks, but hey, shit happens like that. I hope they find their symbols. I know they said it cost a lot. I'll see them perform another time....
