I've been watching Man City since last year when Silva first went over. :/ I want to watch the players that excite me, even if I don't like the team, so Man City's cast of characters is pretty much irresistible (I like Mario, find Mancini's hair and scarf wearing fascinating, and on a shallow note-Micah Richards is hawt).

I can! With some injury spells due to them being kicked off the pitch in between. But when they're on, they'll be on fire.

*Examines lineup* Panti wasn't even on the bench? I disapprove very strongly.

Any idea how to work City's stupid website that never tells you any of the things you need to know?

You know a team like City is spoiled for choice when there's competition just to sit on their overpriced customized bench.

I try valiantly to stay away from the City site so I don't know how the navigation works but when I do go in it's to ogle the pics and vids. There seems to be a recent vid with your Panti, and they always tag player names so there's bound to be others.

I could well be delusional, but I firmly believe Mario's much less of a brat than the very bored English press make him out to be. With Paddy (and Mancio, I guess) there to keep an eye on him, I think he'll be fine if he just gives himself a chance to be happy and relaxed. I mean, Kolorav's not wearing any pants, for god's sake! Just have fun, Mario, it's ok.

I have to agree with you, like this, this demonstrates his (more developed than Roy Keane's) sense of humor, not another incident demonstrating what a diva he is. But yeah, I want great things for that kid (Mancio is fonder of him than he seems! Imagine how Mou would be treating him at this point. I just really hope his faith pays out.).

ETA: Also I hope seeing Kun motivates him. They're close enough wonder kids in age, they could use a little competition.

Exactly! With all the endless transfer rumors and stories about various footballers' sex lives, you'd think the English press would be less focused on Mario's every move, yet they still manage to turn every tiny, funny molehill into a bratty mountain. Lame. (I think Mancio indulged Mario way too much at Inter, that's my only concern. That said, Mancio is very aggressively try to correct his greatest Inter mistakes -- from the outside, the main one was losing control by letting the senior players (interestingly, including Paddy, if rumors are to be believed) have way too much rein -- and letting Mario do what he wanted seems to one of those things, at least in Mancio's mind. This gives me hope.)

ETA: I bet you Kun is far cockier than Mario, and yet the English media have already decides he's a full-grown genius who was born when he arrived in Manchester. Jerks. I hope he and Mario can find a)a common knowledge, and b)some little kid understanding.

(I don't even know what Mancini does, I never knew at Inter either, I just know he's a control freak from reading about him. But if he's control freaking his way out of previous mistakes, that's great.)

ETA: Kun's been rocking the game for money at hideously young, child labor law breaking ages forever, you betcha he's cocky and it's annoying as hell that the English media is acting like he was invisible before his Man City debut. Who are they to rewrite the script of his origins? That's the (unofficial) son-in-law of Maradona, the youngest player to ever debut in Argentina's top division, U-20 champion, Olympics gold medal winner, FIFA Golden Boy. The press has no idea what they have on their hands, he's going to be a diva, he makes bad choices sometimes, but he does love the game. I don't know where this will go, but god, the wasted talent and potential if they don't get along. It's sad.

Because I am far more technologically challenged than you'd expect, all I could do was take pictures:

OMG, the hair! The Suit! His dubious little face! There is something stylistically so hardboiled about Camo's look, I feel like he could walk straight into a crime thriller like Scarface and nobody would give him a second look. *checks the vid* Geezus Christ, his voice sounds a lot lower in Spanish! It looks like a sports "This is Your Life" type of show. He must be closing to retirement.

Thank you for the caps and the linking! Geez, I was still a bit miffed with him about the stupid revenge kicks in the face to prone men, but it's hard to stay mad at that face and hair.
