Well my Uncle Russell died today. He lived in Iowa. I want to go to his funeral so bad but it's this weekend and a plane ticket to Des Moines costs over $700. So that won't be happening. I just want to pay my respects. He was one of the only people in my dad's family that embraced me and just loved me for me. When I was around him I didn't feel that I had to put on an act I could just be myself.
My trip to Iowa was one of the best vacations of my life. My Uncle Russell taught me so much and showed me a whole nother life style. I had never been to small town America before. I am just so happy that I was able to have the time with him that I did.
