The geek project list
Well I may as well create another geek project list this year, it helped me saving them up last year to stop being distracted when doing work.
* MythTV - make the linux box into a bundle of joy
* Bash - Still need to get more powerful with bash commands/config joy
* QoS - Play with quality of service setup on a linux router
* Vim - expand knowledge some more
* VPN - make the pppssh vpn work better to Hobnobs over GPRS work better
* Cocca - Play with some OSX app goodness with apple stuff about it
* Perl - Learn :)
* Improve uni network setup (transparent proxying to wwwcache, internal dhcp, ntp server etc)
