[So Griffin isn't feeling too good at the moment. No, it's not the economy (he's already got asthma from that) and it's not anything too big in politics. Nope, just back at home, the weather is crap. [ by some coincidence, nate is walking around with a carton of ice cream (probably stolen from somebody else because god knows he cannot afford such treats anymore), wandering around aimlessly with a spoon of ice cream practically dangling from his mouth. he hates the rain, and the cold, and ohhh it's sooooo cooooold why would any reasonably benevolent god do this to a benign and relatively harmless person such as himself? ]

[Griffin rolls onto his back and looks at Nate upside-down from the arm of the couch. Somewhere in his room, two space heaters are clicking away, making the area a bit stifling but very comfortable for him. On the TV, Arsenic and Old Lace is playing.]

Mnnn, just watchin' movies. [Yawn.]

[ this also means that his ice cream is going to melt, which is definitely no good. especially after he very sneakily stole it from jake, who's still mad at him for being poor and generally failing financially. but it's so cold outside. this is a very difficult decision: stay or leave? ]

Mhmm. Y'know, it's kinda unfair to give me a cold summer, then an extra cold fall. Kinda scary t'think how winter's gonna go.

[He reaches over with his toes to a space heater by the end of the couch and turns it up slightly.]

[ nate continues to eat his ice cream. it's amazing how much food he can shovel into his mouth at a time. ]
