NOTES FROM THE MIXER: this all turned out quite a bit differently than i was expecting, actually. this pretty bloody epic! mix was done for an exchange over at arithilim  's journal. i claimed the prompt about melancholic, cleansing summer rain. instead of just being simple and finding nice melancholic/optimistic/rainy songs and compiling them into a solid ( Read more... )

*facepalm* Sorry for delayed reply. I am lame and also lame.

This looks really awesome! Could you put it into zip files (maybe one for each of the two parts)? So that people don't have to download each track individually?

Other than that, it looks so amazing. I really can't wait to hear :D

Will forward link on to recipient!

I can try. I don't actually know how at the moment, because things like this sort of elude me (I have no idea why, because I'm usually fairly good at tech stuff); will mediafire let me zip it without a paid account, or do I need to use a different site?

ohh, you gotta do it on your computer, then you upload the zip file.

You'll need an archive program - free ones are 7-Zip & J-Zip. If you want to wait probably a day or two, I'm in the process of putting together a tutorial.

So, I googled it. =) And I figured out how to compress those nice folders I made. (I have a mac, I'm no sure if it's a different.) I'm not sure if I can just re-upload the zip files once I get them all compressed, or if there's other things I need to do.

Thank you so much for helping me out, I feel like a giant loser for no knowing, and I super appreciate you teaching me. =)

yup as soon as you compress it, you can just upload the .zip file :)

Do not feel like a loser. The only reason I know these things is because my brother is an ADHD Comp Sci major and has spent the entire 18 years of my existence teaching me about these things. Also, you were able to figure it out yourself, so extra don't feel bad. Trust me, most people can't.

oh, really? yay! okay, i do feel better now. =) yeah, i'm the oldest, and sort of generally the go-to person when it comes to the computer, so when i can't figure it out, i'm kind of screwed on that front. but i'll get those zips up this weekend, and then it'll be a lot easier, yeah? wooo! *does a happy dance and revels in new-found computer knowledge*
