Madame Maime has apparently decided to make my duties more official.  In effect, I'll be spending far less time working the floor.  Instead, scheduling, bookkeeping, ordering, magical augmentation, and sending out paychecks are now official duties.  Note that this doesn't come with a change in job title and nowhere near enough of a pay increase.  But I will be required in-shop, or at least on the floor, much less.  I'll be more out of reach of the Pink Thing.

To make up for that, we hired two people to replace Erin's loss.  Things shall be more interesting at least.  And as I'm in charge of scheduling, I should be able to minimize the number of shared shifts between two particular employees.  I should have another talk with the nisse...
