Ah, I loved the scenes between Helen & Will this episode. Their friendship has come such a long way and it's fantastic. And I really loved seeing a sort of role reversal there. Will keeping tabs on Magnus for a change. Great dynamic.

While John has obviously gone back to his murderous habits, I don't really feel like he's in the same place as he was in the beginning of season 1. Like S said a few comments up, I think he wants revenge with still being the good guy.

I don't think we have seen the last of Ashley or of the Cabal for that matter. I thought this episode was brilliant, but the disbanding of the Cabal was too anti-climactic. There has to be something else going on somewhere. I feel like Dana has something else up her sleeve. I wouldn't be surprised if Ashley is indeed dead, but I think we will get some sort of closure if that is the case. At some point this season, anyway. I dono, I just don't feel like this is anywhere near over just yet. Not that it would be the end because there will be a lot of grief, etc. But I feel like we will get more of an explanation eventually. *Shrugs*

The Helen/Will dynamic is something we were told to expect, but man did they underscore it! They really made this ep powerful! Will yelling "MAGNUS" when she is trying to find more things, and the flinch she has...OMG! She looked so defeated and I think Will saw that and that's why he went along with it, even if he didn't believe it.

I agree that they need a bit more w the Cabal...they are these super badguys with uber-vamps and they just fall after their plan goes bad...IDTS! If that's it then Ima be a little dissapointed.

If they do do more flashbacks that will be exciting, but I don't want Ashley to be dead!
