1. Mary McDonnell got "snubbed" again. Sure, I'm sad, but I didn't expect her to get nominated by an elite board who has a stereotype that she, unfortunately, does not fit in.
2. I would have loved to see Amanda get nominated for 'Requiem', but alas, I did not expect that either. I expected this one even less, but damn, she totally deserved to be recognized for her work. Geminis anyone?
3. Sanctuary got nominated for their VFX! That is a well-deserved nomination! I'm so happy for the team.
4. Battlestar got overlooked in major categories, but they definitely took a few creative nominations. Good for them.
5. It's the Emmys, guys. Don't take it too hard. They overlook science fiction every year; this is nothing new.
