why do birds suddenly appear everytime you are near?

today was pretty much perfect.
i woke up late and drank good coffee,
then we took an hour long boatride to a peninsula
where a real live bostonian made us delicious calzones.
on the boat ride back,
when seattle came into view,
the city was completely illuminated by light,
and everything else was covered with clouds.
it was very lovely.

the best part was being whipped by a seabreeze.

then i saw the bourne ultimatum,
loved it,
considered pissing the CIA off just so i could run and hide from it,
and took a bath,
during which i read an excellent book.
now i am wet and warm and happy,
and am going to go to bed.
