I just watched Hotel Rwanda again for my 5th time. And I'm sick of seeing what is going on in our world. And to break it down further than that I'm disgusted with our country & my generation. What is it that when we turn 18 and we're given the chance to vote no one in our generation gets out there and makes they voice heard. And then when Bush is elected in these so called democrats are stunned and shocked and irate. WHERE WERE YOU? I WAS THERE! I VOTED! I DROVE PEOPLE TO THE DAMN POLLS! I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD! However the majority of my counter parts would rather be drinking themselves into oblivion. The thought of being part of a generation that cares more about Lindsey Lohan's waist than about Roe VS Wade, makes me want to vomit.

We want more rights, and we want to be heard. But a lot of us aren't doing anything to help ourselves. Step back and look at yourself. Why do you need those expensive shoes? Why are you wasting your money on that cd? Why do you change the channel when the news comes on? You do it, because you're brainwashed. You feed into what society wants you to be, a brainless, drunk young adult.

I'm sick of not being able to have an intelligent conversation with someone in my age bracket. I'm not saying I'm perfect, and I'm not saying I don't indulge in expensive things time to time. If you get anything from reading this I want you to get mad. I want you to know that I think our generation is shit, that people between the ages of 18-28 truly mean shit to me. GET OUT THERE AND DO SOMETHING! Instead of seeing everyone elses short comings, get out there for the greater good. Help at a soup kitchen, food not bombs, make people aware that you are young and you are angry as hell because of what is happening in your world.

The Red Cross is always looking for help, especially now with the hurricane victims.
Brightside in Holyoke needs help around the holidays raising money to help keep kids and families off drugs and out of the streets.
Battered Women & Children shelters can always use a hand, a donation.

My list could go on forever, but I'm sure most people have lost interest.
