[Hiccup's worried, too, but he's trying not to sound it.]
He's--y'know, I--I bet he's home. Even though it would be...a ridiculous choice to send back a seasoned warrior who's taught several generations how to fight dragons, let alone, uh, killer rabbits, but. Hey. Whatever.

[That's right, Hiccup. Birdwatching. With a girl. Dream come true. It kind of is on Lily's end, too. She's doing something normal with a normal person - though I use that term lightly.
Lily shows up a few minutes later. She took care to pick an outfit (tracksuit, nothing special) and brush her hair and shine her collar. Lily wants to look nice for her first Normal Outing.

[You know what's weird about Hiccup? He's got dark hair. All of Lily's siblings have fair hair. This makes him special, shallow as it sounds. He's different in a lot of ways. This is so awesome. Thank you, Vertiline, for seriously making Lily's life better. And thank you, Hiccup.]
Yeah. Same. It was a little weird just talking on the comms. It's like you were just a voice.

Okay...
[So Lily enters the forest. It's a really, really long way to where she saw the bird. Look, Lily was exploring, found some nice flowers and stayed there, alright? Alright. She's hoping to find those nice flowers again, too.]
Sooooo...
[The fuck do normal people talk about? Lily's been good at making conversation on the comms, but it's weird in person.]
[GENUINE WORRY.]

[Can you hear the seeping excitement? Birdwatching. With a new friend. This is just made of high-octane awesome.]

...Okay, no, so that's his excitement.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bird watching with a girl heeeeeeeee.
Hiccup'll be squirming over at the Temple's entrance, his notebook tucked into his belt, a stupid, if nervous smile on his face.]

[oh my gosh you're taller than him and everything.
Be still his beating teenage-boy-heart.]

So! So, let's go? Birdwatching? In the forest? [Jungle. Whatever.] That's where I saw the red one. The bird, I mean.
[What the fuck else would it be? A dragon?
(Haha)]

[With an awkward sweep of his arms, he motions to the trees.]
Uh, after--after you.

Well. Uhm. I could tell you...oooor.
[He slips his sketchbook out of his belt.]
