It's May (again). We're heading toward a busy season at work. We're heading toward a busy season on the homefront too; my husband and I are buying our first home together. Spring is truly a season of rebirth this year... as this is my first spring completely free of my previously unhappy past life. And my first spring in my new happy life.
Sometimes all I can think is: God bless the broken road.
The road toward home ownership (part 2 for me/part 1 for my husband) begins at the end of this month when we close. It's an exciting, happy, but penny-pinching time! But wonderful things are worth pinching pennies ... I just have to remember that! :)
I've survived and bloomed after an abusive childhood, an unhappy marriage, a nearly 2-year path toward divorce, and personal bankruptcy. I am very thankful and grateful for this spring rebirth.
