Bahrain declares state of emergency as three killed
For those watching Middle East developments, I think this one will be one of the important ones. The U.S. has the same problem here as it has with Egypt; do we support democracy and the chance of a new government not liking us, or the current government that is friendly to us but is authoritarian. And this one might be more complicated than Egypt since one of our fleets is based there.
It's probably still a little too early to tell if it'll get worse there or not, but given the way things have gone lately, better to assume it will and plan for that now rather than later.
