After some DeLay, sentencing handed down

Well, in name at least. DeLay has been sentenced to serve 3 years for his money laundering which allowed Republicans to take over the Texas house. Actually, he was charged 3 years for conspiracy. He would have 5 years for his money laundering but the judge switched it for 10 years probation. Oh and he may not have to serve those 3 years any ( Read more... )

Well, he belongs to the White socio-economic class but isn't himself "White", so I don't think he'd agree from experience, but, sure. Funny that you should use that example though: didn't that case bring to the forefront the issue of race, the American justice system and the inequalities between them?

But I digress: Obama is the president, so there's no more racism.
