Friday off-topic: Plovdiv's donkeys
The inhabitants of my city of Plovdiv have been noticing an ever growing number of donkeys being painted on walls, fences and garages all around town as of late. The tag that could be seen next to those masterpieces of grafitti art as called "Bane".
These quick and sharp caricatures are definitely adding some color and spirit to the city's streets, although they often tend to be painted on private property, which can be a bit of a pain in the ass for the owners. On the other hand, that's probably the point, otherwise they wouldn't be so noticeable.
The city authorities have tried to deal with this pest, to no avail. They keep popping up in new places. We've yet to learn the true meaning of this symbolism (if any).
