Peaceniks have been targeted for some time....but no one cared.

My reaction to the IRS singling out the Tea Party groups for scrutiny is frankly, "Welcome to the empire, tea partiers"
Jess Sundin: "Karen came to weekly meetings. We’re all volunteers, and so we make decisions together at those meetings, and she participated in those discussions, sometimes even chairing the meetings. Karen had a key to our office ( Read more... )

I've sent repeated FOIA requests for my FBI file, only to be told repeatedly they didn't have one on me.

Which makes no sense, given my military record and pot legalization activism.

Reckon I'm too boring to observe.

With the internet, who needs an FBI or CIA anymore? They are the source of most federal trouble, both domestic and abroad.

What kind of violent training does a Bureau need that will kill two skilled agents? I mean, WTF are they training for off the coast of Virginia , the Second Coming of Christ™? And why do we need a 'global response' unit? How does their jurisdiction extend to, say, Thailand?

You must have an FBI file. Anyone who files an FOIA request for an FBI file gets one opened automatically.

My tack with the FBI was to make sure that my file was so thick it required its own file cabinet.

The FBI is still important because they shoot suspects who stab them with a knife:

Conspiracy junkies will have a field day with that. But why didn't the FBI didn't search him for weapons, or why couldn't they restrain him with some smooth karate moves, or just taz his ass.

There have already been a number of people who suspect that he was killed deliberately. There are ways to use a gun that do not inflict deadly wounds. It is not as if they guy pulled out an AR-15 on the officers.

Well, it wasn't an accident! At some point, he was slain deliberately. Coulda been suicide by cop though.

That is a strong possibility. It is also possible that the Feds inflicted the stab wounds in order to cover up an assassination. The most likely is the typical vengeful cop scenario where drawing blood provokes a deadly response.

And when you're reach extends into peace activists bedrooms and to Thailand, may I not call it empire?
