I wonder if this could be one of those issues that goes back and forth between Democrat and Republican administrations, that Republicans will reverse it and Democrats re-instate it and so on, but that would add a lot of uncertainty in military planning.

As long as they don't lower the standards I am all for this. If a woman meets the same physical and psychological standards as a man why shouldn't they serve?
