LULZ: Which TP Be the Bestest?
To all you Terry Pratchett fans out there: a question for you. Of all the Pratchett you've read, which would make the simplest movie adaptation? That is, which of his books translates into a screenplay with the minimum of modification?
Me, I think The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents fits the bill. The opening scene in the stage coach with the highway robbers could be turned into screenplay form simply by changing the format. No literary gags lost at all, which, let's admit it, can be a problem with Pratchett, especially given the footnote gags in most of the straight Discworld stories.
