I am both disturbed and intrigued.

What about those WMD? sophia_sadek June 8 2011, 00:45:35 UTC
Your mention of the whole Saddam/WMD thing reminds me of a recent trip I took through spin doctor land. As I was perusing Rumsfeld's memoir, I was struck by the absence of any depth of coverage of the WMD scandal. Rumsfeld did not even mention Joseph Wilson's name, much less the whole business of the faked documents that came out of Italy. I can understand that he would omit Curveball since it was a less overt aspect of the whole affair. Hey man, don't forget that post allowed us to review the critical issue of whether Scarlett Johansson looks better glamoured up or popcorn-eating casual.

So I think we all learned something important and came away better men and women because of your post.

Ah, Jack Handy.

I hope this sheds a light on people who use conspiracy arguments of 'the right did this!' or 'the left did this!' in order to abstract the issue to the point of nonsense in order to facilitate their viewpoint.

I hope we can continue to strive for honest discourse that involves actual debate and not just stating an opinion as fact without demonstrating it as a fact.
