UPDATES:

I’ve been finding the pressure of having an agent detrimental to my writing process lately. Whenever I sit down to write for the day, I feel like she is watching over my shoulder and I imagine what feedback she will give on different sections of the writing as I’m writing it.

I really like your writing tips. I don't write much anymore, but when I do manage to find the ambition to start writing again, I'd like to use a lot of the tips you've given.

As for how many books I read in a year, it's usually somewhere between 25 and 35. I'd like to read more though. Next year, I'm going to make it a goal to read either 20,000 pages or 50 books. Whatever comes first.

What genres do you like to read when you do read? I often find there are a lot of fantastic new books in the world-but they aren’t at the library or affordable, so that often limits my reading a little.

My taste in Literature is pretty eclectic. I read almost every genre. The ones I don't like much are romances, westerns, and mysteries. But I have read books from each of those genres and liked them. But usually, they're not my cup of tea.

I do! I really like authors like Markus Zusak, Gregory Maguire, Charles Dickens, and many others.
