Twenty-Eight of Thirty: Support the OTW (Please!!)
I may have mentioned this before, but I'll say it again. I am in mad, passionate love with the AO3. Doing this 30 Days Meme has fanned the flame of my love to an even higher level, as it's made me realize just how much the AO3 enables my fannish life. Remember my post about the 6,000 fics on my Kindle? Well, where do you think 98% of those fics came from? And thank goodness for the "Share" button that makes writing up recs such a breeze. That basically saved my life these last 28 days. Not to mention the story alerts that allow me to keep up with the miriad WiPs I follow. ALL of this is made possible by the work being done by the fabulous people at the OTW.
I figure the least I can do to show my appreciation for their contributions to my fannish health and happiness is to give them a little money now and then. Oh, and write a gushy post about them a couple of times a year. ;)
