Twenty-Four of Thirty: Wednesday Fic Meme, Teen Wolf Edition
What I just finished reading: Even though I love mpreg, I was leery of reading "Tiny Houses" because the warnings made it seem like it would be a lot darker than I like my mpreg to be. However, 
jerakeen wrote a great rec of it over on
bestthingever that convinced me to give it a whirl. While the first couple of chapters are indeed a bit of a rough go, once you make it through the darkness, the story takes a turn in a much brighter direction and ends on a very positive note. I stayed up much too late finishing it, and enjoyed myself immensely.

What I am reading right now: Someone over on Twitter (not naming names because it's a locked account) recently posted an anti-rec for this series, and of course, that made me curious, so I started reading the first story. And kept reading. And now I'm on the second installment. *face palm* So obviously I don't hate it, but hoooobaby are there some consent issues in this story. Unexamined and insufficiently warned-for consent issues. Tread carefully. There's also some internalized misogyny that trips me up every time I stumble across it. And, yet, the prose is fairly solid, and if you like soulbondy, alpha-omega type tropes, you may find that it appeals to you. Link to the first story in the series:
