Heart-felt Thanks, Escapade
It's all sparkles all the time up in my user page!! Thank you to Anonymous, denyce, duskwillow, raspberry_splat, redina, and serenography for the beautiful glass hearts. I've been laid low by the Annual Cold of Doom this week, and getting those v-gift notices brightened my Valentine's Day significantly.
It's the second-worst week for me to get sick; our new employee started on Tuesday, and since she reports directly to me, I could not take as much sick time as I would have liked. I finally got her set up with a couple of projects yesterday and was able to take today off. Sleep, how so wonderful? I feel worlds better now.
It was the second-worst week for me to get sick: the worst week would have been next week, when I fly to California for ESCAPADE! Wheeeee. I am looking forward to a couple of days hanging out by the beach, let me tell you. And there will be so many amazing people to hang out with, chief amongst them rhoboat, who is going to be my roomie and a co-mod for a vidding panel. Plus, my Gay Action Movie Vid will premiere at the vidshow, which is super exciting. I think it's a hoot (I cracked myself up with my song choice); I'm curious to see what the audience's reaction will be. Please let them giggle!
