More Card Thanks, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
My mail carrier continues to bring me joy. Many thanks to

I hope everyone is having a pleasant holiday season. I certainly am: I get another unexpected day off tomorrow. I feel almost guilty about it, but it's not my fault the building is closed. :P Earlier this week, I met up with the ever-charming
norwich36 for lunch and a movie. Because I suck, I didn't get her a present, but she got me the perfect gift: a toy Captain America shield. I love it! She said she tried to get me Steve and Bucky action figures to go along with it, but there were no Buckies. NO BUCKIES. I has a sad.
After lunch, we walked over to the theater to see Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol because we had heard rumors that it was one with the slash. That's basically the only reason we went. Well, that, and I wanted to get a look at this Jeremy Renner guy who's showing up all over my Avengers lovin' friendscircle. Frankly, I was not expecting to enjoy the movie, but I was very pleasantly surprised in that regard. I was completely entertained the entire time, even though Tom Cruise's scraggly hair was working my last nerve. The action sequences are stunning: so creatively choreographed and shot. There wasn't much character depth to be found, nothing to really sink one's teeth into, but I didn't mind because I was so thoroughly blissed out on the visuals. Sadly, my slash goggles must be on the fritz because I didn't see the Hunt/Brandt slash that others are seeing. In fact, I'm about to say something that may get me shunned, but I cannot remain silent. Jeremy Renner's face? No me gusta. There. It's out. Feel free to defriend me, no hard feelings. ;)

It's vidding crunch time for me this weekend. I need to finish my Festivid and get started on my Escapade vid, all while trying to fend off a hugely distracting Sherlock: Game of Shadows vid bunny. Why do my friends have to tempt me by leading the way to cam files? I'm weak, so weak. *whimpers*
