Preparing for X-Men: First Class Slash
First off: thank you to justforspite for the jellybeans! They make for a nice splash of color on my user page. Also, thank you to hils for the Wills and Kate mug, which arrived in perfect order, and just in time for my co-worker's birthday. He absolutely LOVES the mug, and I like it, too. It is surprisingly not-ugly. ;)
Friday night with the Chicago Crew will be dinner at an Italian place and some fine British bonbons for dessert. X-Men: X-tra Slashy or X-tremely Slashy? Only time will tell. :)
I feel like I've been spamming you guys with vids lately. It's just that I wanted to take advantage of my last days of "freedom": I started full-time at the convent yesterday. I've fallen out of the habit of the whole five days a week, 9 to 5 routine, so I know my energy levels are gonna take a hit for the next few weeks as I adjust. That's why I wanted to get as many vids done in May as I possibly could. I finished three, which I'm quite chuffed about. That makes seven for the year so far. My goal is to finish 11. Get it? 11 in 2011. It is for just such arbitrary goals that I live.
Next up on the vidding roster: the two vids that I owe. The Burn Notice one for jackiekjono and the Heroes one for svmadelyn. I want to say that I will be working exclusively on these until such time as they are finished, but if a decent copy of Fast Five surfaces, all bets are off. I saw it again this past weekend with reppu, and it was just as much fun the second time around. I'm dying to vid it (I have a cracktastic Hobbs/Dom idea), but I have not seen hide nor hair of it anywhere. Sigh. I might have to wait for the DVDs.
