Pre-Festivids Jitters
I forced myself to sleep until 10:30am; at about 6am, I wanted to start obsessively refreshing my friendslist to see if 
festivids was live yet. It's that bad, people. I'm especially excited this year because I made two vids instead of one. I think they're screamingly obviously mine, but I'm so, so curious to see if people can guess which ones I made. I love this anonymity thing; it's seriously the best part of Festivids for me.
Before I get swallowed by Festivids, I have important business to attend to. Namely, I must sing the praises of
duskwillow for the baby otter on my user page. Cris, you are responsible for a lot of squee in my life, and I adore you for it. Thank you!!!

What else can I talk about? Oh, I just deposited the first paycheck from my new job. That felt good. It wasn't a lot of money, but it's so nice to be earning something again. The job is great; I'm learning a lot, and my boss is the coolest nun you will ever meet. I heart her. I don't have internet at work, which means I'm actually earning my pay pretty much every minute I'm there since I don't take any breaks to check email or LiveJournal or Dreamwidth. It's kind of intense. LOL. I probably should look into finding another part-time job, but working 3 days a week is a great way to ease back into employment after two months of concentrated sloth. I think I'm going to revel in it for a couple more weeks. :)
