More cards; Vidding Update; Fastlane

I refuse to do the year-end vidding meme that's going around because I have high hopes of finishing one last vid before 2009 is over. It's going to be a first on a couple of fronts: my first vid in Sony Vegas and my first animated source. I'm kind of flailing around right now, but the source and the song are so cute that I'm super-motivated to finish the vid so I can watch it. Haha. My vanity, let me show you it. And then after that's over, I'll start on my festivid right away. I promise! I'm not feeling pressured at all. AT ALL. (Why do I do this to myself?)
I finished The Mighty Boosh, and I was craving more light-hearted fare, so I finally opened the Fastlane DVDs that I bought on sale months ago. To my very pleasant surprise, this show is actually quite good. I find myself charmed by all of the characters: Van, Deaq, and Billie have great chemistry, and I could totally go for a threesome. So that's two threesomes I'm down for with Tiffani Thiessen (the other being White Collar Peter/Neal/Elizabeth, in case you were wondering). You go, girl. I love Billie's character; there is absolutely no doubt that she is the dom in the scenario. She's so badass; for a show run almost entirely by men, they've managed to create an incredibly appealing, funny, and strong female character. And Van and Deaq are so pretty and so frequently shirtless! It all works for me. I might have to vid this. *adds it to list* Although, of course, I could never top bionic's wonderful vid for slashy goodness, I might just try my hand at the threesome.
