VidUKon stuffs

As you may be aware, we're trying to pull off the best con we can, even if the chances of another con are slim to none at this point because of a too small number of attendees. The prepping of the con is also more stressful with a smaller number of hands to help.
BUT, I believe that there are extraordinary people in this community. Yes, I'm pointing at you guys ! and I believe some of you might be able to help us. So, if you've read this far, please consider doing one of the following :
1. Register as a non-attending. You'll get a shiny DVD with vids on it ! and you'll help the con as well. Really, it's a win-win ;-)
2. Help make a show. We're short on volunteers and it'd help up a lot if a few people helped putting a show together even if they're not attending the con. You can see the list of shows to claim here. You can find information on how to compile a show in the VJ section of the FAQ at the website.
3. We'll soon take Premieres submissions so please consider making one for the con; we'd be extremely grateful :)
4. It's never too late to register ;-) Scones and Biscuits !!! Not to mention : Vids !
5. There might be a job you'd like to help with, but that I didn't mention. If you want to help in any way, let buffyann know :-)

I've volunteered to put together the slash vidshow (of course!!) and to do a panel on humor in vids. I'm very excited about both. I have a lot of ideas about slash vids, and I've seen some great recs here and here, but I definitely want to check in with you guys to see if you have any suggestions. I'm particularly interested in any femslash vids that are not on sol_se's list. The requirement would be that they have to be in a downloadable format; YouTube will not suffice. So, rec away, please!
