Surrender to a stranger

Home is within your heart and your arms sometimes too
I hate to be apart, to be removed
We all belong together, warm and safe, and not alone.

Until we get it right we will suffer
Until we stop hating, and surrender to love...

I continued my journey today, a search for love and acceptance...
With a stranger
And as we walked around in the cold I thought to myself
About nothing but love
It would be so easy to surrender to you, stranger
But I dont know if you could love me too

Im a simple woman
I dont know a lot, but I know there is much to learn
I havent been anywhere in the world, but I understand humanity
I may not have a ton of life experience, the ones Ive had have taught me well

And Ive learned that home is in your heart
Home is warm in your arms
To be together with others is joy
And I continue my search...
