Yay~!  Care-package arrived today from home.  Well... they tried to deliver it Saturday morning at like 8:30 in the morning, but I didn't get up in time to actually open the door.  SPAM, Pringles Stix, Iso peanuts, li hing mango~!  I'm saved!  ^_^  I wonder if my brother knows that my mom uses tampons as filling/padding for my boxes... and I wonder

lol I also changed my wallpaper. XDD I'm using the one where they're standing on that field with the mountains in the background. :P I also made a new layout but I haven't decided yet if I'm going to use it or not. I like the one I'm having now so much~.

^_^ I've never tried to make a layout... which is probably for the best, 'cause then I can open my lj at work without having a huge photo of Mitsu pop up (cause it'd have to be Mitsu if I made a layout ^^;)

The photos are so great. I never look at my pamphlet cause I worry about damaging it... *sigh* I shoulda bought 2.

I ended up changing the layout anyways. ^^ I couldn't help myself. The colors were too pretty. :P

Yeah, the bindings are quite fragile on the pamphlets. >.> But at the same time I like flipping through them every once in a while.

It really is... even though I just opened one of the packages of iso peanuts and it's totally stale. haha... Guess I'll be popping those in the toaster for a bit later.

I considered that one! But all my icons are on the right so I decided against it. ^_^

I ate Spam for the first time in Okinawa....pretty good actually. Definitely not as horrible as I was expecting.

It has a bad rep... well... probably for a good reason, but those of us who've had heavy US military presence in the past (Hawaii, Guam, Okinawa, Korea) all love it. ^_^ How was it prepared when you ate it? Maybe I'll make spam musubi someday. :D

It was just sliced....I think straight out of the can? It was with breakfast when we had to leave our host families. I've never noticed of Spam is sold at normal supermarkets in Tokyo, but in Okinawa there are whole aisles devoted to it. O__o
