Summary: This is Jin and Yamapi’s first Christmas together as a couple and Jin wants his gift to be special… in all that it entails.

A/N: This is a Christmas present for linnjay… and therefore, also an indirect present for ChangBang. All I was told was to make her smile this Christmas. This was the result. *waves* Hope it’s good enough! Comments always appreciated! ^-^

[December 21, 2007]
“Pi?”
“Hm?” He looked over at his boyfriend. For the first time in what felt like forever, they were able to spend the whole morning together. He was reading through a drama script while Jin laid his head in his lap.
“After the holidays, we should try to take a small vacation together,” he said, looking up smiling.
Pi smiled back. “That sounds good.”
“I knew you’d think it was a good idea, so I was talking to Ryo-chan about going to Osaka-“
“Not Osaka.”
“Why?” he inquired, looking at him curiously. This was the first he’d ever heard of his boyfriend having anything against Osaka.
“Just anywhere but Osaka… We always have to work when we go there,” he said, trying to explain. “If we’re going to go somewhere for a vacation, it should be away from work, shouldn’t it?”

“Sorry Ryo-chan!” Jin said plopping down next to him. Kanjani were in Tokyo for part of the holiday specials. “Pi said he doesn’t want to go to Osaka.”
Some of the others looked up. Ryo glared.
Yasuda bounded over. “For what?”
The resident baka explained that he and Pi were thinking of going on a vacation. “Yeah. I told him Ryo-chan and I were talking about going to Osaka, but he said no.”
Yoko crossed his arms. “He said no?”
“Yup,” Jin continued, completely incapable of reading the situation. “He said anywhere but Osaka.”
Subaru frowned. “Really?”

Later that afternoon, Yamapi limped into the NewS dressing room. Koyama, immediately sensing something was not right, rushed over. “Yamapi! What happened? Why are you limping?”
“Um…” he said, sitting down. “I’m not really sure myself. I was passing the Kanjani members in the hall and they didn’t say anything when I greeted them. And then Yasu stomped on my foot.”
Shige looked up from his textbook. “Did you do something to piss them off?”
“It was my first time seeing them since last month!” Just at that moment, Yamapi’s cell went off. Glancing at it, his face scrunched in confusion.
“What?” Koyama, the ever so curious one, asked.
Tilting his head, he read off the text message. “’Osaka is the best! ~Maruyama’.”
“… Did you say something bad about Osaka in front of them?” Shige asked.
The phone went off again. “’Tokyo sucks! ~Yassan’.”
“Uh…”
“’West beats East! ~Yoko’.”
The three boys blinked. “I would definitely say that you offended Osaka,” Shige murmured.
The cell phone beeped again. Yamapi looked down hesitantly. “’Pi, how could you? What’s wrong with Osaka? ~Uchi’.” He reread it. “Uchi too?!”

The seven Kansai-ans listened while he explained what the actual conversation had been. After realizing that it had to have been about the upcoming vacation, and a quick call to Uchi, Pi rushed over to the Kanjani 8 dressing room.
Now satisfied that there weren’t eight of them out to kill him, he called Jin. When his baka didn’t answer he decided to leave a message. “Oi! The next time I say I don’t want to go somewhere, could you not go straight to the people who call that place home and tell them I hate it? Thanks.”
