Summary: This is Jin and Yamapi’s first Christmas together as a couple and Jin wants his gift to be special… in all that it entails.

[December 15, 2007]
The next morning, Yamapi sighed when he ran his fingers over the hold in his counter as he sipped his coffee. Jin had apologized over the phone the previous night, but Yamapi really hadn’t needed a play by play of what had happened while he’d been in the shower. He’d already been able to (accurately as it turned out) imagine what had happened.
The day was going much smoother than the day prior. No one was fighting, nothing was burning, Chinen and Daiki were crying… Wait. What?
“Hey, hey, hey,” he said rushing over. “What’s wrong?”
In between sniffles Chinen managed to say, “Akanishi-san called Ohno-kun is a useless brat!”
“Then he splashed a cup full of water in my face and walked away!” Daiki said, pouting.
‘That baka!’ he thought, making a mental not to throttle his boyfriend later. “Ok. Chinen. Listen to me. Ohono-kun is not useless.” Just lazy like an old man, he added mentally. “You and I both know Arashi would not be the same without him.”
The young boy nodded, still sniffling but tears no longer flowing. “And Daiki, did Akanishi-kun splash you with water on purpose?”
He shook his head ‘no.’ “But I had just done my hair on my own for the first time.”
“Oh. Well. Um… if you were able to do it today, you’ll be able to do it from here on out,” he reasoned. “Right?”
Yamapi sighed in relief as the two boys ran off down the hall. Being a good sempai meant a lot of things, ne. He pulled out his cell phone. “Oi! Bakanishi! You made Chinen and Daiki cry!” he said not even waiting for his boyfriend to greet him.
“Ee!? When?”
“Just now! You called Ohno-kun a useless brat in front of Chinen and splashed water in Daiki’s face!”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Jin replied, recoiling. “Daiki wasn’t crying when I left them!”
“Well, he was when I got there!” Yamapi sighed, dragging his hand over his face. “Why did you hit him with water?”
“It wasn’t supposed to hit him,” Jin said, panicking now. A pissed-off-Yamapi meant a not-in-the-mood-to-have-sex-Yamapi. “I was chasing Nino, ‘cause he sprayed me with water, so I was going to do the same to him… but, I, uh-“
“You missed,” he finished for him. “Alright. Now about the Ohno thing?”
“… He said that you were being really lazy recently.”
“… You do realize that he was probably just trying to entertain himself by picking a fight with you, right?”
“… Really?”
‘Oh god,’ he thought. ‘I’m in love with the world’s biggest baka.’
