I don't get this feeling

I don't know how this has happened, but I feel weird not posting for 5 days.  It's only been 5 days!  That's less than a week!  Why does it feel like such a long time?!  Don't understand it, but I actually feel like I've been neglecting my journal.  O.o

Let's see... what have I done in those 5 days...

-  Went to see Takki at Yokohama Arena... in YUKATA.  I may or may not have peer pressured a few other people into doing it with me.  ^^;  But it was fun.  I've always wanted to go to a concert in yukata.  I dunno... I just like dressing up sometimes (ok, A LOT), but it was fun.  Takki was two feet away from us on the cart since we were first row stands and we had a great view of the whole show.  And the best part was that we could sit for the entire thing.  Very rarely do I get seats that allow me to do that.

The concert itself was good... but I have to admit that I liked the Osaka one better.  I missed the presence of Kanju backing.  Oops.  ^^;

-  Rachel was leaving for Hokkaido on Sunday, leaving me with nearly 10 hours on my own before my bus back to Osaka.  Val and Chris had mentioned that they were going to Nakano that day and I was jealous that I wasn't going with them... for about 10 seconds before I was like, "Hey.  Why DON'T I go with them?!"  Turned out that Chris left to go home in order to save herself from spending money that need not be spent, so I met up with just Val and she helped me kill a few hours before she had to leave.

I was rather well behaved.  There are a TON of Kanju photos at TRIO, but I only bought... 11 photos?  But then I bought Miyata's and Nika's EbiKisu clearfiles ('cause I was dumb and didn't buy all of them when I went to the actual concert), as well as Ota's X-Mas '07 message photo and Kisumai's one from the YOU 達の音楽大運動会 thing.  We'll ignore the fact that Miyata's signature looks like it says 'Mjda' with a crossed 'd' and that Senga's looks like it says 'Keuto'.  They clearly weren't used to cursive.  Kitayama's signature in kanji is always really nice to see, but his "hiR>o<" is super cute too.

Anyway.  Val spent like 3x more than me.  Makes me feel better. ^_-

-  Arrived back in Osaka at 6:30am, got home at around 7:30, took a shower and went straight to work.  Exhausted, but I feel like I did a good job of hiding it.

-  Went to see PLAYZONE last night.  Enjoyed it a lot.  I was actually confused for a bit because the story ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE!  My seat was the last row on the first floor, dead center, so even though on paper it looks like a really crappy seat, for a butai, it was really good.  And to sum up my thoughts... I'm basically just gonna c/p what I texted to Rachel after the show.

Ryu's hair is permed in a sort of unfortunate way.  The other members, MAD, and Yara had fun poking at him for it.  Gocchi's dark hair is super pretty, Tottsu's looks soft, and Kawai's is way too short.  Hasshi trots after them around the stage (instead of striding like he should during songs) and looks extremely uncomfortable during the dance on the grad staircase thing, eyes darting down a lot.  Tsubasa nearly walked/slipped off the front edge of the stage.

In addition to that, Tsuka-chan makes me happy and a lot of the ad lib stuff that ABC-Z did were really funny.  Yara cooked Kawai's pet shark (Jaws the Third) for dinner.  And it took maybe 10 seconds of going, 'Hm... I've seen this choreography somewhere...' before realizing that they were for some reason unknown to logical thinking people, performing "It's BAD".  Guess what?  It was bad when Massu did it and isn't much better now that Tsubasa's doing it.

Also, the random usage of Kansai-ben was highly amusing.  Someone, probably Noeru, asked Yuma if he were to eat Hi-Chew, would he be able to speak Kansai-ben?  To which Yuma immediately started to say his line from the Hi-Chew commercials.  もう・・・優馬、早くこっちに帰って来いよ〜 *sigh*

-  After getting home from PZ, I found a test that Ms. Hasshi made sitting in my inbox.  Not only fixed problems in the English (wow did it need fixing... even though I'm pretty sure she'll tell me that she found it in some textbook), but also fixed all her formatting issues.  There were odd mixes of Japanese and English spaces throughout (Japanese spaces are larger than English ones), as well as sometimes using the tab button but then using the space bar at other times.  Oh, Ms. Hasshi... We'll add not knowing how to use Word to the list.

-  Talked to Laruku for the first time in a MONTH.  Don't know how that happened, but yeah.  Finally just called her house and totd her to get online.  Showed her ABC-Z's video on TakiCHANnel.  When she got to the website, the first thing she told me was that the site's character looks like a penis.  Made my day.  hahaha...  We also went through all the Junior profiles in the calendar.  In exchange for getting her to pay all this attention to Juniors, I watched the new K8 PV and downloaded the first episode of JOKER.  I REALLY LIKE THEIR NEW PV!  It's about time they were allowed to release one of their actual songs.  Sorry, but completely hate Wonderful World and only tolerate KyuJyoSHOW in concert... with either Miyata or Kanju singing it.  But anyway.  They look so good!  And it makes me really happy to see Yasu actually smiling, instead of the overly bright and probably fake smile we often see.  The real smile is a hundred times better.

Taking tomorrow off so that I can have lunch and hang out with one of my friends before she leaves to go back to med school in Kanazawa.  Probably won't be able to see her again until next March.  Let's see... other than that, I will at some point post my updated sales list, do laundry, and clean my apartment... again.  I really wish sometimes that I was the type of person that scanned things to share online...  I'm aware that I have a lot of things that people haven't posted before, but then I think about how long it takes to not only scan and crop, but to also upload and encode.  Sorry.  Maybe someday.
