(no subject)
so i have decided that i want to start talking about things that interest me in a more formal way. In this day and age, that means 'blogging'. Right now, i'm pondering a blog about food, because i love food and restaurants and cheese, but its almost trite and overdone at this point. there are a million so called foodie blogs out there, and adding one more to the noise helps no one, and ends up looking self indulgent.
my other idea is a blog about religion, comparative religion, and ritual, from the perspective of an easterner immersed in western philosophy. there's more meat on that bone, i think, but enough to sustain a regular blog? who knows?
Cam suggested i write about religion in gaming, which is another passion of mine, but how much of that is sustainable either?
my dream, of course, is to run a blog that reviews books, but god knows those are a dime a dozen. but hey, i've got nothing but time, right?
