(no subject)
Hello lj world, and happy new year. 2005 was not much fun, overall, but I'm optimistic about 2006. Classes start tomorrow, and I'm very excited about starting to actual Greek and Latin instead of the exercise sentences, amusing as they sometimes were. I need to go check with an advisor once next years course offerings are up, but I think I may be able to finish my BA in a year and am considering quitting my job and doing an MA full-time once I do. I want to see how doing upper-level courses (papers!) goes, though. In other exciting news, I'm nearing completion on a sweater for my mom that uses two colors! and shaping! It's an exciting change from random straight tubes and scarves. There's some other good and bad stuff, but I haven't quite figured out how to talk about it on lj, so I'll file it under "sucked in '05 but likely to be better in '06."
