Surprise sunshine
We're still supposed to get thunderstorms today, which would be wonderful, but right now it's beautifully clear, so I'm going to go walk by the lake and get some eggs and whatever else looks good at the market.
I had a lovely, relaxing, rejuvenating vacation, but the positive effects were rather offset by how miserable I was at the prospect of coming home. And I seem to cry every time I'm on a road trip now. But, sun, the prospect of a thunderstorm, good groceries, and some cleaning (I'm going to dig out summer clothes even if it isn't warm yet, dammit) help.
My potentially brilliant idea of setting myself a schedule has stalled until I actually set myself one, but I'm carrying on and will see how it goes.

p.s. My mom's scarf was so pretty! I'd never bound anything off before, so that was a bit of tricky, scary fun, but it ended well enough and she loves it.
