New Job Continued & Other Stuff
I feel uncomfortable going into too much detail about the new job, but suffice it to say it seems easy. It's just a matter of getting in groove with their procedures and the rather dramatic personalities that come into play there.
Currently reading "Guards! Guards!" by Terry Pratchett. He's a very talented writer and kind of reminds me of Piers Anthony in style. He has written one of my all time favorite books, "Small Gods" which has a favorite line (paraphrased) "May your genitals grow wings and fly off!"
Listening to bagpipe music (I forget the name of the CD) which is, in part, to gear me up for going to my first pipe band meeting. There isn't a big culture of pipe music in Columbus but tons in Cleveland, Cincinnati and even Dayton... Just my luck, I suppose! There is nothing, I might add, quite like blaring pipe music while blasting down the highway at speeds not recommended by our city's department of transportation. Try it sometime.
