(no subject)
There is so much snow everywhere. It is bothering me. It snowed a lot on Monday and on Tuesday when Soterious went to shovel our car out I watched him from the door with a hot cup of coffee and he got mad and threw snowballs at me. And then I had to clean the doorway while he shoveled the snow. I did not have to go to work Tuesday because all the kids I take care of did not come. Soterious still had to go to work though. So, I cleaned our apartment and cooked some soup and then my friend Alice came over because she too did not have to work and we watched movies, including La Danse Du Vent which was in Arabic and very good.
I have just returned from teaching and it is going very well. The children are all the kids of parents who left Turkey when they were adults or were born in Turkey and left when they were very young and so they are all curious about the country. It is a very nice day outside, and I do not have much more to say except that I need some snowboots.
